Clearing Cache & Cookies

This tutorial will show the user how to clear their cache and cookies on Google Chrome.

Open Google Chrome. In the top right hand corner you will see 3 dots in line with one another, click on those then proceed to Settings. Alternatively, hold Ctrl & H together to bring up the screen you need. If you use the ctrl & H method, skip the next stage and go straight to stage 3.

Next, scroll down and find the section that shows the below. You're looking for the option to Clear browsing data.

You'll see this screen appear. Select the Time range, it could be that you just want to clear a week's worth, a month or the entire lot from the beginning of time, whatever you're preference, select it from the drop down menu. Next select what it is you'd like to delete. You can delete as many as you want from the options shown. I've chosen to clear my cookies and cache by ticking their boxes. Once you've selected the one(s) you wish to delete, press the Clear data button.

Once you've pressed the clear data button, your screen will temporarily show like this whilst it's clearing your data. Depending on how much of it there is to clear will depend on how long this process takes. Once it's finished, this screen will close and you'll be shown the same screen as you saw in step 2.
